DeliverBeep, by LedsCount, sends a notification to your phone when your mailbox is opened. The app has no accounts, no ads and no analytics. This page explains the little data it needs.
On your phone
- The mailbox IDs you subscribe to, the names you give them and recent notifications. They are stored only on your phone, and deleting the app deletes them.
Notifications (Google Firebase)
- Notifications are delivered by Firebase Cloud Messaging, run by Google. Your phone gets a push token from Google and subscribes to one topic per mailbox ID. Google processes this token to deliver the messages; see Firebase privacy.
Our server
- Mailbox openings: when a DeliverBeep base sees a mailbox opened, our server stores the mailbox ID, the base ID and the time, and sends the notification. These records are deleted after 90 days.
- Delivery and read ticks: the app tells our server when a notification arrived and when you read it (only the notification's ID and the time), so the base can show ticks.
- Subscription links: when you open a DeliverBeep link before the app is installed, the server remembers your IP address together with that mailbox ID for 30 minutes, so the app can subscribe you after installing. On Android the mailbox ID is also passed through the Google Play install referrer.
- Logs: like any web server, ours keeps short technical logs (time, IP address, request) to keep the service running.
We don't collect your name, e-mail, location, contacts or any other personal data, and we don't sell or share data with anyone except Google for delivering notifications.
Children
The app is not aimed at children and collects no personal data from anyone.
